SLSU-San Juan holds writeshop on Policy Analysis and Epidemiology for Journal Publication
Southern Leyte State University-San Juan Campus conducted a Writeshop on Policy Analysis and Epidemiology for Journal Publication on October 22, 2024. The event aimed to enhance the research and writing skills of faculty members, researchers, and students in preparing studies for academic publication.
The event was graced by Dr. Francis Ann R. Sy, Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Extension Services, and Dr. Marie Khul C. Langub, Director for Research and Innovation. The session was led by esteemed resource speaker, Professor Don Eliseo Prisno III, the RD Lead, with support from Mr. Jerico B. Ogaya, Assistant RD Lead, and Mr. Marfy H. Lita, Project Development Officer from the National Research Council of the Philippines.
The writeshop focused on key methodologies in policy analysis and epidemiology, guiding participants through the process of structuring their research for submission to peer-reviewed journals. Facilitators provided hands-on training, offering feedback on data interpretation and manuscript preparation.
