OVPEOEA sets new strategic plans for FY 2021
SOGOD—The office of the Vice President for Executive Operations and External Affairs (OVPEOEA) of Southern Leyte State University (SLSU), headed by VP Juanita M. Costillas, conducted 3-day strategic planning to formulate and brainstorm new strategies on how to achieve the targets for 2021.
Part of the strategic planning was to orient all the offices under EOEA including those from the external campuses on the Internationalization (IZN) Framework approved by the university’s Board of Regents, its policies, and guidelines. The 2021 IZN activities were also identified and planned out. The activity also served as an avenue to train the documented information officers in relation to the pursuit of the university’s upcoming ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System recertification.
This engagement serves as an avenue for informed decision-making for a new set of strategic plans, and corrective actions and interventions for the fiscal year 2021 in response to any identified gaps, concerns, and problems following the comparative assessment between the expected university outputs as to actual accomplishments.
