The colloquium started with a warm welcome message from Dr. Clemente Cobilla, who emphasized the importance of creative works in the academic community. He also stressed the importance of sharing knowledge through publications and the ways to navigate AI in getting these works done.
Dr. Mark B. Galdo delivered the closing message at the colloquium, expressing deep gratitude to Dr. Avila for sharing valuable insights on publishing creative works and research. He encouraged faculty to continue writing and sharing their scholarly and creative outputs. Dr. Galdo also reminded everyone of the university’s guidelines for publishing, including the newly approved Creative Works manual and protocols under the Knowledge and Technology Transfer Office (KTTO), which are designed to support and protect their work. He emphasized the importance of aligning efforts with the "I CARE TO TEACH" program, urging educators to inspire, innovate, and create knowledge that transforms lives. He concluded his message by encouraging everyone to remain enthusiastic in their journey of writing, creating, and making a difference.
