Process of Making Pinboard from Peanut Shell and Coconut Coir
A process of making pin board derived from peanut shell and coconut coir that comprises 50% pulverized peanut shell and 50% pulverized coconut coir; comprising the steps of: drying the peanut shells in the oven at 135°C, crushing the dried peanut shells; soaking the coconut husks in water, defibering, mixing the crushed peanut shells and coconut coir, mixing the peanut shells and coconut coir, adding formaldehyde-free adhesive to the mixture, molding the pin board to the thickness of 1.27 cm and drying the pin board under the heat of the sun.
