This activity is in line with the efforts of the GAD Office to fully mainstream GAD in the University and consequently comply with statutory requirements.   To keep pace and harmonized the GAD Manual to the current and future conditions of the university.

Benchmarking activity at the SLSU-Maasin City Campus

The echo-seminar focus on basic GAD Concepts which deal about sex and gender, its perspective and mandate. Overall mainstreaming considers Gender Analysis which is the systematic gathering and examination of information on gender differences and social relations. GAD Planning and Budgeting which is the systematically designed set of programs, projects and activities carried out by an agency over a given period of time and estimation of how much of program/project budget can be attributed to the GAD budget.

Capability building for CTE-MC faculty members and research students to enhance research capability, analysis and data interpretation as indispensable knowledge and skills for the effective and efficient discharge of research and extension responsibilities and/or requirements.
