2014 Technical Services of RDE Staff

The following lists a review of technical services as evaluator, of RDE staff in 2014

In July, SLSU-Sogod Research Unit Head Dewoowoogen Baclayon was chosen by Samar State University (SSU) to speak in its Research Proposal Writeshop, organized to train newly hired faculty and amateur researchers. One of several speakers, Baclayon was tasked to speak on research and development proposal preparation for life sciences and technology researches on July 8, 2014.

In October, SLSU-Sogod Extension Unit Head Veronica Reoma was picked by Samar State University to be an evaluator for its In-House Review for Research Proposals, Completed and On-going Researches. “What struck me was not only the volume of research they had, but also their close to a dozen researches that are up for patenting,” said Reoma, of her evaluation of over sixty researches on October 9-10, 2014.

In November, Baclayon was one of eight evaluators selected by Visayas State University for its Visayas Consortium for Agriculture Resources Program and the Regional Research Development and Extension Network for Agriculture and Fishery (ViCARP-RRDEN) Cluster In-House Review on November 28, 2014.
