Brgy. Magallanes Concludes Financial Literacy Training for Batch 2
On November 8, 2024, Brgy. Magallanes in Limasawa, Southern Leyte, held the final session of its Financial Literacy Training for Batch 2, marking the successful completion of a valuable community initiative. The session was led by resource speaker Agnes Montañez, who shared key insights on topics such as budgeting, saving, and financial planning. Facilitators Josefina O. Carpentero and Jhon Mar A. Majerano guided participants through the program, creating a supportive and engaging environment for learning.
Participants were invited to share their personal financial issues and money management techniques, as well as to discuss and apply financial principles throughout the program. Participants gained useful skills for everyday financial decision-making as a result of Montañez's presentation, which simplified difficult financial subjects. The collaborative environment created by Carpentero and Majerano's facilitation gave participants the confidence and drive to succeed in their educational endeavours.
