SLSU Clinches Multiple Awards at First Government Employee Badminton Tournament

Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) dominates the court at the town's inaugural First Government Employee Badminton Tournament, taking home major awards across multiple divisions. The sporting event serves as a highlight for the municipality's landmark 173rd Founding Anniversary celebrations.

In the Beginner Category (Doubles), SLSU’s Emmanuel Cabanig clinches 1st Place alongside a mixed-agency partner, while the duo of Myca Hinay and Renee Clint secures the 3rd Place spot. The university's winning streak continues into the Semi-Intermediate Category, with Lourd Ive M. Visbal and Rosello Caduldulan Jr. capturing a hard-fought 2nd Place finish.
