Tra Vinh University welcomes Southern Leyte State U for Cultural Exchange Program

Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) is now on a cultural exchange program at Tra Vinh University (TVU) in Vietnam.

Dr. Sybill Krizzia G. Ledesma, a faculty member, and SLSU students Ms. Roneth Binalangbang, Ms. Jillian Grace Burila, and Ms. April Mae Lagumbay, escorted by Dr. Ingrid M. Uy, Director of External Linkages and International Affairs, will be part of this enriching cultural journey from October 17 to October 30, 2023.

TVU has organized an assortment of engaging activities for the participants of the cultural exchange program, including collaborative teaching, learning, and research efforts. Participants will also engage in community service projects, explore culturally significant sites in Tra Vinh province, and partake in cultural exchanges through sports, arts, and culinary showcases.

Both TVU and SLSU are known for their dedication to education and cultural diversity. Together, they aim to create an environment for learning about diverse cultures.

Beyond academics, this program will let everyone experience the local culture firsthand.
